Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is the name of a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. She was born in Stavanger on June 15, 1996. Her professional name is Aurora. Her name could also be described in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, was released in May of 2015 by Decca Records to great approval by music blogs and the media. The singer has released a number of high-profile song covers, including Half the World Away (by the group Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole), which are widely loved. Katy Perry, who endorsed the hit song Runaway by her, offered an additional boost to the music. Honor her special birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories involve finding an old piano that was hidden away within her attic, then getting enthralled by the sounds the instrument produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music not to get the purpose of a career or as a hobby, but rather in order to grow. Therefore, she created her own compositions. Like Bjork as well, she mentions Leonard Cohen as an influence. Her mother encouraged her to perform her music in front of the public, but not in order to become famous but rather assist others in understanding how valuable that they are, and the impact they can do for the world. She began playing the piano when she was just six years old, then began composed music by the age of nine. It wasn't known to her family about her musical talents until she turned fourteen. Aurora isn't something she imagined as a child. According to her, she loves writing music. For her, music is one of the most efficient ways to communicate anything.
